In 2012 his musical adventure began with gypsy-jazz group 'The Squeezebox Trio', and within a few years were regular favourites at countless folk music festivals around Australia. On top of this they recording 2 EPs and one full length album that was supported with a New Zealand tour.

In 2014 Thomas joined the ranks of US balkan/swing group 'The Underscore Orkestra' for two full length tours of Australia, Ireland, France, Spain, Belgium, Germany and Bulgaria; and again in 2016. Over the course of these tours was lucky enough to further study balkan accordion at the Royale Académie Internationale d'été de Wallonie as well as learn from Romanian legends 'Taraf de Haidouks'.

Since 2010, Thomas has been teaching piano, guitar and accordion to students of all ages eager to learn, both independently and through schools. Some of which include Hills Shire Music Schools, Castle Hill Music and Jaksa School of Dance. On top of this has been lucky to be a volunteer for the Nordoff Robbin's Music Therapy Centre through 2013-2014.

Currently, Thomas is building up several exciting new projects in Bristol since November 2016. The first of which is KEZVA, an exciting fusion of Balkan, Greek, Turkish music with jazz and fusion!
